One of the best things about working in a reclamation yard is asking customers to explain what they are looking to create. Not build, create. Nine times out of ten people pick up on the subtlety without faltering and will go on to describe their dream using emotive language. I love it when their eyes move off to the middle distance and you can tell they are describing a vision that has been with them, developing for some time.
So we may stock bricks, stone, flagstones and beams but we sell walled gardens, growing families, outdoor parties and cosy nights in.
