Winchcombe

Our feature Summerhouse, erected in our Winchcombe yard for viewing. This oak framed building shows examples of decorative brickwork, lime plastered panels and traditional framing techniques.

Reclaimed materials were used throughout including handmade bricks, leaded windows and the clay pantiles on the roof.

Overall, this is a good starting point to see how these structures are put together and, as it has been 'in situ' for some time, it demonstrates how the timber frame silvers with age.
