Hawling
An existing octagonal timber frame was sourced from another reclamation yard as a starting point for this Summerhouse. The height of the structure was then lowered to allow it to sit with the surrounding tree line and the profile of the roof was altered to suit the design of the client.Large leaded windows and French doors were made to order. To finish, the building was clad with weatherboarding and Cedar shingles were laid on it's roof.
Because the predominant material was natural wood, this particular Summerhouse weathered rapidly to it's surroundings; giving the impresion that it had always been ther, at the bottom of the garden.
